This s my second steak club experience, and so I really only have the previous one to compare it to.Venue - 5Fairly plain from the outside, but as you enter there is an impressive open kitchen, and opposite it a display of the steaks that can be ordered. I took a train from to Marble arch and walked from there.Menu - 4There was only a single choice when it came to steaks. I really don’t mind a small steak menu, as long as the available steak is brilliant, which it was.Steak - 7Comparing it to my last steak club, I enjoyed this rib-eye a lot more. It had a coarse salt seasoning. Not much into sharing a steak, which was the only option, but hey, it was delicious!Waitress - 8Service was great, and pretty much had 2 waiters serving us throughout the evening. They were on hand and never had to wait for service.Wine - 62 bottles of wine were ordered, the Remelluri Reserva Rioja and the Miros de Ribera Reserva. Not being a big wine drinker, I won’t pretend to rate them. All I can say is they were enjoyable along with my beer!Value - 6The total price per person was £82. This was more expensive that my last steak club. The steak was better this time, but the venue at Hix Oyster and Steakhouse was better.Score:Steak – 7 X 5 = 35Venue – 5Menu – 4Waitress – 8Wine – 6Value – 6Total: 64
